Concepts and Requirements for Making Pasta Sauce: An enormous skillet (or baking dish)and good whisk are really all that’s required! For gluten free fans, I strongly suggest trying Jovial gluten-free elbow macaroni as your pasta of choice.
Mac and cheese recipes may be prepared either in a skillet or 9×13 baking dish.

Cook macaroni (or whatever curly pasta you like best) according to package directions; add 1/2 cup sliced green onions divided between 2 tablespoons of butter and flour and two tablespoons of butter, separated out. Pour this over two cups of total milk (5 total) along with 5 grated sharp cheddar cheese divided among one teaspoon of sea salt and two of freshly-ground black pepper (one for each cup of cheddar).
Preheat the oven to 375F/190C and arrange rack in center position, setting water on to boil before making pasta according to package directions. While waiting, prepare cheddar and slice onions; slice tomatoes. Additionally, warm milk on medium-low in another pot on your stove until warm before pouring over pasta mixture in skillet.
Melt butter over medium/high heat in either a skillet or medium sized pot; when this step has completed, add 1/4 cup inexperienced onions for two minutes of sauteing before whisking flour in for one more minute to create a roux (thickening agent in cheese sauces). A roux will help thicken your cheese sauces over time!
Slowly pour warm milk into roux while whisking with one hand, until all milk has been added (reserving one cup for later). Gradually whisk cheeses until all have melted into sauce (you should save some cheese to save for later!). Continue this step until all cheese has been used up and sauce is clear.
Season with salt and pepper before beginning. Once pasta has finished cooking, carefully add it to a skillet with cheese sauce in order to combine thoroughly (if using baking dish for baking purposes, spoon pasta into it first then pour sauce on).
Refrigerate until ready to serve (this should take 20-25 minutes in total). Top with remaining cheese and bake another 20-25 minutes or until cheese has crisped up nicely; garnish with remaining inexperienced onions as desired before serving.
