As another way of controlling keto treat consumption, one way to ensure you do not go beyond one serving is to divide them up and prepare individual servings of each dessert in small pieces that can easily be divided up and eaten on its own. Large cheesecake or cake desserts may look stunning for entertaining; however, having such an item around in your own kitchen could tempt you into eating more than 1 portion.

This egg custard recipe has only minimal sweetness; you may adjust its sweetness as per your liking.
Expert tip: Before adding all the eggs to the custard mixture, experiment by fashioning it first to see whether or not the flavor and sweetness meet your requirements and those of your family members. If not, add just a pinch more of your favourite low carb sweetener; style again until satisfied before finally including all your eggs into it.

Devices for Making Egg Custard
An intense powered blender will quickly prepare this egg custard to bake. While whisking by hand works just as effectively, using a powerful blender ensures each ingredient combines evenly without lumps forming in your mixture.
Ramekins- I used 6 ounce ramekins but you can also use an 8 inch square baking dish as they make serving easier and are conveniently portioned out for you to serve individually.
Baking Dish-To create the mini ramekins I used a 9 by 13 glass baking dish topped with hot water until half of their edges had reached it.

Components For an easy omelet, all that’s necessary are big eggs and heavy whipping cream (for those seeking dairy-free options, canned coconut milk or cream may be substituted instead)
Unsweetened almond or coconut milk
Stevia Extract Is Better than Sugar Substitute or Swerve Confectioners
Add some pinches of sea salt – This step can enhance the flavour without using excessive sweetener)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 F and place 5 individual ramekins into an 11 by 13 baking dish for easy transporting.
Add all ingredients directly into a blender or large bowl, and blend until all components have been mixed smoothly. Pour evenly among four ramekins.
Place a 9 by 13 baking dish into the oven. Pour boiling hot water from the kettle directly into this baking dish until it reaches halfway up the sides of ramekins; enough should cover at least an inch above their base (either one inch, or just above them in total).
Bake the cakes for approximately half an hour, or until their tops have turned a deep golden-brown while their custard remains slightly loose (in case your oven uses gas, this process might take slightly longer; 40 minutes would likely do it for me). Remove from oven, allow them to set for approximately 10 minutes before setting in your serving dishes.
Enjoy delicious custard warm, room temperature or cold – and top off it off with sugar free whipped cream if desired – while warming, room temperature or refrigerating it as needed!
Store Egg Custard
Enjoy warm egg custard right out of the oven or chill them inside your fridge so you can take pleasure from its goodness all week long!
Allow each ramekin to cool before placing some plastic wrap or parchment on its edge and placing in the refrigerator for at least five days.
As I don’t have enough experience thawing out frozen goods, I do not advise freezing these recipes; although it might work. Freshness will probably result in better outcomes! For maximum enjoyment when made fresh and easily refrigerated.
Low Carb Sweetener Alternatives
If stevia isn’t to your taste in this low carb egg custard recipe, there may be other low-carb sweeteners you could try as replacements.
Monk Fruit sweetener and Swerve are excellent choices; for an enjoyable silky smooth texture it would be preferable to choose powdered confectionery type low carb sweeteners rather than their granular equivalents.
Use my sweetener data & conversion chart to quickly determine how much sweetener to substitute in place of the stevia in this recipe.
