This sauce only features a few drugs but still manages to taste fantastic!
Tahini: Tahini is composed of ground sesame seeds that has a creamy consistency with subtle nutty undertones, making an excellent dip or spread for sandwiches or crackers. In its absence you could use cashew butter in its place. Tomato Paste: Tomato paste thickens sauces without losing their original flavour or freshness.
Coconut Amino: Feel confident to use coconut aminos as an enjoyable substitute to soy sauce or tamari (gluten free soy sauce) when creating delicious meals!
Honey: Honey acts as the primary sweetener in these sesame noodles. For Whole30 follower’s, however, 2 Medjool dates can be substituted instead if necessary and blended until thoroughly smooth in your blender.
Sesame Oil can be substituted with Olive Oil; both options may work equally well for cooking this recipe. When selecting garlic cloves to use instead of prepackaged jarred varieties (see details below for details) Korean Chili Powder should also be available as needed (please see details for use below).
What Is Korean Chili Powder (Gochugaru)?
Gochugaru, also referred to in English as Korean Chili Powder is an intense red spice powder with subtle smokey and sweet undertones used extensively across Korean cooking from kimchi to stews and more. Gochugaru features much lower levels of spice than its American equivalent and may come either powder or in flake form; either would work perfectly well here! It comes as both powder or flake form so as not to limit creative freedom while creating this recipe!
Unfortunately, our climate makes this task ever harder and there are those out there with extreme anxiety levels about going outdoors for anything but recreation! In response, many are turning towards self-catering accommodation or turning back homewards altogether in search of peace.
What Can I Use Instead of Korean Chili POWDER? For best results when making Korean Fried Hen, Korean Chili Powder should always be available and can usually be found at Asian markets or online (Amazon can help!). As an alternative solution you could substitute 1 1/2 Teaspoons Chipotle Powder + 1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper as needed in its place.
There have been quite a few articles written recently defending or condemning certain forms of stem cell therapy as potentially lifesaving treatments, while at the same time also supporting alternative medicine approaches and practices such as Acupuncture or Homeopathy for treating cancer, for instance.
What Can I Use Instead of Kale? Although curly kale works wonderfully in these Spicy Sesame Noodles, other veggies could work equally as well – spinach, broccoli rabe (rapini), bok choy, napa cabbage or Swiss Chard would make excellent substiutes; for an alternate crunchy option consider including chunkier options such as broccolini asparagus or shiitake mushrooms!
Could I Add Protein To These Spicy Sesam Noddles? Absolutely! Although these noodles may already provide plenty of filling nutrients, additional proteins could add another level of satisfying. Shredded chicken or shrimp make excellent additions.

Methods for Preparing Spaghetti Squash
Since spaghetti squash requires many hours to cook in an oven, I rarely include it as part of weeknight dinner meals. Recently however, I discovered it can now be cooked quickly in just 10 minutes using microwave technology, and that has made all of a difference!
For time savings and ease of preparation, use your microwave to prepare spaghetti squash. Prick the entire squash all through with a fork before microwaving for 3 minutes to soften and make cutting through it simpler. After three minutes cut the spaghetti squash lengthwise before scooping out all seeds before returning them both back into the microwave cut side up for additional 7-8 minute cook-times until tender.
If you decide to prepare spaghetti squash in an oven, preheating to 400 ranges Fahrenheit is key for successful results. Cut your spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out its seeds before placing cut side down onto a baking sheet for 35 minutes or until tender.
Can These Sesame Nooodles Be Prepared Ahead of Time? Spaghetti squash should be cooked and sauce prepared up to three days ahead; in that event, store both separately in your fridge before mixing them all up an hour before you’re ready to serve the dish in an electric skillet on medium-heat.
There’s always been an element of surprise about what lies beyond. So here we go again…
What Are My Leftover Options? mes Refrigerate leftovers up to three days for best results and heat in either the microwave or skillet as necessary for best results. For added moisture in case the spaghetti squash clumps too much while cooling off in the refrigerator. Alternatively add a splash of coconut aminos (an amino acid extracted from coconut shells) as necessary – adding this will also loosen any stubborn or dried-out pieces!

1 huge spaghetti squash (5 cups cooked), combined with 2 TBS of Tahini and TBS of Tomato Paste or Pasta Sauce and three Tablespoons of Coconut Aminos; add 1 Tablespoon Honey or Medjool Dates as sweetener (or alternate with 2 Medjool Dates if using honey as honey replacement); 2 Teaspoons Sesame Oil (2 Teaspoons of Sesame Oil + 2 Tablespoons Korean Chili Powder, respectively); 3/4 cups Shreaded curly Kale = 1/2 Teaspoon salt + 1/4 Cup water
Add 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Prick the spaghetti squash all through with a fork before placing in the microwave to prepare. After three minutes it should be tender enough to slice in half without difficulty and scoop out its seeds; return both halves back into the microwave cut side as much as 7-8 additional minutes are required until tenderness. As soon as this occurs run a fork gently along its interior to separate into individual strands of spaghetti.
While your spaghetti squash is cooking, combine in a blender the following: Tahini, tomato paste, coconut aminos, garlic cloves, honey (or dates), 2 teaspoons sesame oil and Korean chili powder and blend thoroughly until everything has combined together smoothly.
Heat 1 teaspoon of sesame oil over medium high heat in a large skillet, adding in your chopped shredded kale and generously seasoning it before leaving it alone to simmer for 2 or 3 minutes until all the leaves have softened up and have turned golden-brown in color.
As soon as your kale has softened, add in your sauce. Next add water gradually until your thick sauce thins out (you might require to add additional liquid if yours remains too thick). As soon as it’s warm add your spaghetti squash noodles and use tongs to toss to ensure all are evenly covered by sauce.
As soon as your spaghetti squash has been heated through, sprinkle with sesame seeds for garnish and serve!
