Nick “The Mutant” Walker wasn’t always known as one of modern bodybuilding’s hulking superstars – much less one of its leading rivals – until winning the 2021 Arnold Primary (AC), his rookie year within the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Well Being (IFBB) Skilled League, during his initial International Federation of Bodybuilding and Well Being (IFBB) Skilled League season, becoming more noticeable and high profile each day thereafter. A fifth place finish at 2021 Mr Olympia further solidified Walker as one big contender within sport; after performing well during 2022 Mr Olympia Walker may return quickly as another potential mass warpath – possibly returning back to some roots that made him formidable early on his initial triumphant run at AC 2021 Arnold Primary, winning back to become more dominant again on mass warpath if anything.
On Jan 12, 2023, Arnold Sports Activities Competitors unveiled that Walker will participate in their 2023 Arnold Primary competition, currently set for March 3-5th 2023 in Columbus OH where many established superstars plan to converge – but this probably won’t discourage Walker in her quest to secure two vaunted AC titles within three years!

Walker made her AC return announcement shortly after Arnold Sports activities Competition announced that this year’s first prize money could increase to $300,000, more than three times what Walker earned when winning Males Open 2021 (roughly equivalent to winning $130,000). This change represents their rapid development and significance within Arnold Sports activities Activities Competitions.
Walker posted briefly yet effectively to Instagram regarding his return to the AC in 2021 iteration with “run it again,” clearly intending to outshout elite teammates at Columbus Ohio stage once more.
As Arnold Primary winner for a second time in three years, Walker faces formidable opponents to defend his legacy and secure it for himself.
William Bonac will look to capture a third career AC crown (2018 and 2022) at this contest of 33 years – something only four other bodybuilders have accomplished over that span. Samson Dauda will also vie for this significant championship; other confirmed names thus far include Kamal Elgargni and Akim Williams.
Notable among these debuting competitors were Derek Lunsford, Blessing Awodibu and Michal “Krizo” Krizanek’s plans to skip this event altogether. Each athlete made it clear they’d need some rest before investing more of their efforts toward improving performance at 2023 Olympia in November – with Lunsford standing out particularly as an athlete capable of fulfilling these lofty targets due to being second place finisher at Males’s Open debut in 2022.
At the time of publishing this textual content it remains uncertain if Brandon Curry, another two-time AC Champion (2019 and 2022), and current champion will return to defend his crown.
